This policy explains what information Bakelytics (the “Service”), operated by Simargi Systems LLC, collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the bakeries and businesses who use the Service.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Business data you enter — your products, recipes, and ingredient costs.
• Connected-store data — when you connect your online store, we import your orders, which can include your customers’ names, email addresses, and order details, so we can build your production plan and margins.
• Basic technical data — such as sign-in activity, kept to operate and secure the Service.

Data is hosted on managed infrastructure in the United States. Connector credentials (for example, your store access token) are encrypted at rest. Each customer’s data is isolated so that one business can never access another’s.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the Service, and only so they can perform their part of it: our hosting and database provider, your connected store (e.g. Shopify), our email provider, and our payment processor. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete it. You may request deletion sooner (see below).

6. Your choices & rights

7. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
